The Scout Lake Residence overlooks Ames Lake, where a Boy Scout camp once was. The idyllic location provides beautiful views and characterizes the modern house design. The forest surrounds the perfect contemporary home for a family with two young children and sits on the property close to the water’s edge. Stephenson Design Collective designed this 3,900-square-foot modern house inspired by how campsites gently interact with their natural surroundings.

The modern house design blends stunning glass, concrete, and wood elements harmoniously blending with surrounding forests and emphasizes the homeowner’s Danish heritage. The house exterior is spectacular, and stylish interiors with lake views provide comfortable and contemporary living spaces.

The glass home interiors are connected by a suspended bridge, visually opening the spaces to the outdoors.
