How to make Pumpkin People

You will need cornstalks, a knife, wide Scotch tape, hay, newspapers, used clothes, and a pumpkin to create an orange-head person. To stand Pumpkin people upright, you can use 1×3 inches wood posts. Sharp them at the end and dive the posts into the ground. Slide one leg of a Pumpkin person over the stick. Continue until it protrudes at the neck. Cut off the stick top and wrap the wire around the post and to the neck. A shorter stick in the ground will support another leg.

Step 1. Prepare cornstalks

Make three sets of 4-6 ft cornstalks. Wrap tape around cornstalks, as shown below.

Step 2. Create the body

Take two sets if cornstalks and wrap tape sound them to create a neck and waist.

Step 3. Support the structure

Take the remaining set of cornstalks and tape across the chest.
